Just making a list of the things I need to sort today and throwing it out there so I feel like I really need to hold up this time. I'm terrible at housework and get distracted by anything and can't get into it.
I want to sort it out and keep on top of stuff but I think it's a long road Confused

List for today

  • humongous pile of dishes, dry and put away
  • worktops clean and rid of clutter
  • bins out
  • washing hung out+/ dry washing folded and put away
  • sort through random clothes piles in the bedroom and put away/wash

House is a lot dirtier than I would like it to be, I think I need to give myself a good kick up the backside!

I am exactly the same and am with you 100% I have had the opportunity to do things today as I am not working and the kids are at school but have spent most of the morning faffing about and avoiding doing anything.

I think my problem is that you are busy, things build up and then instead of being small tasks that need doing it feels like I have a mountain to climb and there is so much to do it is hard to know where to start.

I am finally going to get stuck in and get some things done at 11.45am! Will check in later to see how you have got on with your tasks. Good luck!!

Sorry for late update it got a bit busy yesterday!

I only managed the dishes, the bins and a pile of washing

But I did have to tackle it all with a 3yo and 5mo in tow and also having to cook, go shopping and take the dog for 3 walks as we've just had some turf laid down and she's not allowed in the garden for a bit.

How did you get on @Albaba ?

Ive been out all day today but hoping for a better day tomorrow as 1 out of 2 is at nursery Grin
