Or should it just be used with baby gros, bed linen etc? Thanks!

I'm fairly sure it's exactly the same stuff as Vanish/Oxy etc. I use it as an extra with detergent if there are stains or if I'm doing whites, but not on its own. You could though, if wouldn't do any harm it would just be more expensive. It's amazing as a stain remover or brightening whites if you soak. I use it as an extra disinfectant in nappy washes.

I don't add it to coloured washes as I think it would fade. Same reason I don't use non bio on coloured.

I used to sling a tablespoon in with washes that had toilet training accidents amongst them with no ill effects.

Yes of course. It’s just a high concentration oxi bleach. Just be conscious of using a lot on colours, as mentioned, it will fade them.

Only difference between Napisan and Vanish is that Vanish contains enzymes along with oxi bleach. Napisan has no enzymes.

Brilliant, thanks everyone!

it fades clothes, so careful with that. but yes. it's just oxy stuff by another name

I always use in in the wash with whites - it really stops dh's shirts getting manky under the arms

These are all new uses. Originally it was for soaking nappies in a bucket and the theory was it sterilised them.

I use it for whites that need a a hot wash. Cheaper than Vanish.
