What lives on your kitchen worktop?

The app keeps crashing when I try to post, so excuse the brief post, I'm sick of typing it.

New kitchen just fitted. Quite a small space, so trying not to clutter it up but struggling. So far the bread bin has gone. Kettle and 4 slice toaster must stay. What about knife block? Chopping boards?

What lives on your kitchen worktops please?

Kettle, microwave and fruit bowl. Everything else is in a cupboard

Kettle, toaster and laptop. Everything else in cupboards. Hate having cluttered work surfaces.

Alongside the several billion bacteria that live on every worktop (doubling every 20 minutes), I have a kettle, toaster, knife block, radio and fruit bowl.

Sounds like a lot but worktop is fairly long

1 wall, 5 wide units plus oven: microwave, toaster, food mixer - oven - nutribulllet, toastie maker, small flat screen tv in corner.
1 double unit, usually hidden behind open door: telephone, soda stream, fruit bowl, bits & pieces.
1 corner, sink & drainer over 2 units, 3 small units into corner: slow cooker, knife block, kettle, pen pot & letter rack.

Sounds like loads but there is quite a lot of worktop space and I have never thought of it as cluttered.

Knife magnet mounted on a wall is way better than a block! I have the minimum out: toaster, salt and pepper, kettle, butter dish and teapot.

I haven't got a knife block, I don't know why I put that - I have a magnetic wall thing. I do however have a knife sharpener in that space.

Coffee machine, kettle, teapot, radio, kenwood, kitchen roll.

Plus a huge amount of random crap that never seems to find its way home

I have kettle, microwave and then around the job I have a butchers block on one side and some utensils in a pot on the other. I do have a fairly large kitchen but hate things on the surfaces.

I’m terrible at this! 2 pots of utensils, toaster, knife block, bread board, scales, washing up liquid, hand soap, 4 types of tea, filter jug and kettle, as well as 3 pots of herbs. Frankly that lot has got to change as the work surface is only 6’ 6” long including the sink!!

At the moment too bloody much. About to have new kitchen with much more storage, so will then go to as little as possible. Probably just coffee machine and toaster. Having hot hot tap so don't need kettle!😁

Kettle, knife block and Kenwood chef. I keep my toaster in the cupboard and take it out when I need to use it. I hate cluttered worktops, it's so much easier to keep it clean if you don't have to move stuff and wipe around things

Do you need to keep the toaster on the worktop. Couldn’t you just keep it in the cupboard underneath?

I have microwave, slow cooker which doubles as a breadbin and a kettle. Everything else is put away underneath the bench.

Kettle. Nothing else.

In the kitchen, toaster, knife block, utensil pot, multi chopping board stand with 4 boards in, kettle and tea bag thing, kitchenaid and breadboard.
In the utility room is the microwave and the big badboy kenwood.
