Household paperwork

Morning lovely ladies

Some advice please

At the moment I store all my household paperwork in files in box files.

They're all very old, broken and look like crap.

Can you tell me how you store yours, please?

If possible can you give me links to where you bought the storage?

I've looked online but there appears to be mainly large-ish filing cabinets - I don't have room for those.

Thanks ThanksThanks

I have some lidded baskets that stack. I got them years ago in Wilkinsons or Home Bargains - I can't remember now.

I just have a plastic tub with labelled plastic envelope folders in under my bed due to lack of storage.

I bought some boxes years ago from Homebase which have suspension files in, a bit like this one. The ones I have have got lids though. You might be able to find similar with a bit of searching.

Presentation folders, one for each topic.

One for general house stuff, insurances, latest bills etc.

One for our pensions

One for all my certifications, job letters, notifications.

One for the house purchase and improvements.

Everything else, gets shredded and composted. I only keep the first and last of everything, so once a bill statement comes in, the previous one goes out.

Thank you all.

I think I'm going to have a lot of shredding!!
