Sorry for the boring question, but where do you store your mugs? We have limited cupboard space, so use a mug tree, but it looks so dated! Am I missing a more up-to-date option?

Cup hooks underneath your kitchen cabinet? Those stacking mugs that have their own metal container?

We use a mug tree - a more modern silver one than the old fashioned wooden one we used to have. Search mug trees on eBay - there are loads of different designs

Cup hooks are the old-fashioned way of storing mugs and cups - doesn't mean they're not a great idea though.

Hanging on a rail? But more modern than traditional cup hooks directly on to base of cupboard, but keeps them off the surface.

We have this rail with hooks - www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/kitchen-products/kitchen-organisers-shelves/kungsfors-rail-stainless-steel-art-40334916/

We also have this shelf for the tea/coffee/sugar to sit on, so the surface underneath is clear - www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/kitchen-products/kitchen-organisers-shelves/kungsfors-shelf-stainless-steel-art-50334925/ It hangs on the same rail.

We've got stacking mugs in a metal stand (from ASDA if I recall rightly).

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Hooks seem to be the way forward, and Happy, I really the ikea rail and hook suggestion.
