I need help!
A few days ago my little boy spilt a bottle of water down the sofa. No worries I thought. Until yesterday. Our front room STINKS of rubbish. Essentially it seems the water had pooled under a sofa leg and the carpet just utterly pongs. I have no idea why it smells so so bad but yuk. That and the heat has made it pretty unbearable in our lounge.
Had a guy round to clean the carpet today and though it looks as good as new it still smells rotten. Hoping it’s fading but is there anything I can try?! Anything which puts a nice scent (or any scent which isn’t rotten) into the pile?
Or am I done for and need a new carpet?!
