Stick type vacuum cleaners. Any advice ?

I want one of these to do the stairs and for when a quick whizz round is required. Which one have you all found to be the best

I have a Miele Cat & Dog for the main vacuum cleaner and find it great (though a bit heavy). Have had two Dysons in the past and don't really rate them at all.

You will find everywhere charges £249 for the GTech Pro but presently it is only £199 on the GTech website with free next day delivery. It does have little bags - I honestly think this helps with the suction - but it comes with 2 and replacement bags are only £9.99 for 10.
