Washing hot after a 40 wash ?

Got a new washer at Christmas no problems have used the 40 wash program loads and the washing has alway been cold and wet at the end as with previous machines. Done a small load tonight as dd needed her uniform washing and it feels warm and not as wet as normal no error code etc. It’s a 4 month old Samsung eco wash machine is there a fault or is it because it was about a third of a normal load

Yes I have had this too, think it is just when there is less in the drum, there of course is less fabrics to extract water from but the machine still spins same speed and length of time so the clothes have a chance to get dryer and thus “feel” warmer than usual (I don’t think they are warmer, you just notice, because they’re not as wet).
