I am about to redecorate my downstairs getting a new kitchen which will be white /pale wood mixture.I also want to half redo my living room /dining room somewhat.I have a really large comfy beige linen loose covered sofa and a dark wood dining table with white seat/ dark wood modern chairs which will be staying.The walls are white as is most of the house as it is a modern build.The flooring is pale wood parquet.I want to get a new rug and new artwork.Where do I start?Buy the rug and work from there? What sort /colour rug should I buy I am really confused.
