Linen sofa covers HELP

So I've put my 100% linen stone/cream coloured sofa covers into a cool 30 wash and they've just come out . Now they don't look any different, but I've just noticed that there is a label that says dry clean only.

Yes I'm an idiot for not checking before I put it in but is it really going to ruin my linen covers? I haven't yet put the second batch in.

I would try and put them on wet or very damp before they shrink.

I wouldn't put them on wet but they will need to not be properly dry when you put them back on. I wouldn't iron them, however much I wanted to. If they don't shrink, you can iron them, but if they are anything like cotton covers, you'll find it quite a struggle to get them back on.
