Advice re American style fridge freezers?

About to redo kitchen and always wanted an American style fridge freezer? Any advice or recommendations welcome!

I really wanted one, well I just wanted more freezer space.

We're buying a new flat and having to do the kitchen so I thought it was the perfect opportunity. In the end though it just didn't work with the layout of the kitchen (the doors open both ways so would hit a wall on one side), and looking at the volume the freezers aren't huge.

Instead we're going for an ordinary fridge freezer with a decent fridge and freezer capacity, plus a second little freezer for under the counter. So I'll have more fridge capacity than I have at the moment and twice the freezer space! I'm thrilled sad DH is

I have a Samsung one, fridge and freezer are not equal width but I find the freezer has plenty of space (family of 5). It doesn't have a water/ ice dispenser however.

I love it and don't find it plasticky at all! And I am quite pernickety about appliances.
