How to clean slate bathroom tiles

Hi everyone. Extremely boring question but I'm slightly tearing my hair out. Recently moved into a new flat - the bathroom has beautiful wall to ceiling slate tiles. Looks fantastic but what the hell do I clean them with? Slate is porous & can't handle bleach, vinegar etc. I live in London so the water is hard too & they're getting duller by the day. Does anyone else have this problem? What do you all use?

curses the previous owners who thought they were a good idea

Have the tiles been sealed OP?

I have natural Indian slate tiles in my kitchen and utility room. I seal them with this annually and do occasional touch ups when necessary:www.adseal.info/adseal-satin-finish.html

Other than that I just vacuum daily and mop once a week using Aldi's all purpose cleaner diluted in warm water.

Mine keep lovely doing this and I've had them for around 10 years now.

Sorry hope it's posted the link better this time.

Thank you very much to both - from reading that link, it seems I do need to reseal the tiles and find a specialist stone cleaner. Why oh why couldn't they have stuck with normal tiles? The bathroom looks great and I love it but what a faff!
