Green Curtains

(No, they're not mouldy Grin)

The colour scheme in my bedroom is green, and the curtains need replacing. I currently have forest green plain velour/velvet ones but they've faded in a strongly delineated stripe down the sides nearest the middle of the window.

I'd like to replace them, probably with made-to-measure pinch pleat ones, and would like a pattern which would hopefully disguise the inevitable fading a bit better. I've looked at a lot of websites that do made-to-measure, from John Lewis to curtain specialists to cheapo flybynights, and no-one seems to have forest green- (ie dark green) based patterns. Everything is olive green or sea green or pale green or teal or khaki.

Please can anyone recommend a company that made their curtains, and, even better, anyone who sells dark green curtains?

I would go and ask in an independent fabric / curtain making shop. They will have loads of fabric swatch books and somewhere one of the books will have the colour that you want and they could order it in.

Daughter's curtains were made to measure from Dunelm and we have been very happy with them. They have a wide range of fabrics so you may find something you like.
