Hello - we bought a house last year that already had attractive Ikea units in the kitchen but with strange door knobs. Anyway, we knocked down a wall and took out some older units and made the unit space much larger. We designed the kitchen on their online package (it's brillient) and then went in to the store to order it. It all went swimmingly and my DH (who's not great at DIY) fitted the whole thing himself in a day. We also changed the knobs to stylish brushed silver. You can mix and match sizes and worktop types etc and it was so cheap. You should check it out.
