Curtains - does this exist?

We’ve recently moved house and the new house has curtain tracks with hooks. Our old house had rails at every window so all our curtains are tab curtains. It’s looking like we need to either buy all new curtains, or change the tracks to poles.

Unless! Is there any kind of hook available that means tab curtains could be used on tracks? I have no clue what this would even look like and google isn’t helping. Does anyone have any idea about whether such a thing even exists?

Tab curtains running on tracks would look odd - they would hang down from the track so there would be gaps where there should be curtain.

Can you remove the tabs and sew curtain tape for hooks on the back?

You could get someone to sew tape to the top of your curtains. It would make them shorter though, also tab top curtains don't need to be as wide tape top (pencil pleat) curtains so they may not be wide enough for your new windows - basically it could work if the windows in your new house were both shorter and narrower!
