I’ve been an absolute numpty
I left a Joseph Joseph microwave lid in the combo oven (having used it as a plate to stand the bowl of baked beans on in case they spilt/over flowed)
I’ve now turned the oven on to cook dinner. And on high too.

The stench is hideous
The smoke is hideous
The lid thing is now a splodge of runny melted plastic on the floor of the oven.
The New oven. Shock

What shall I do?
Wait until it’s conpletely cooled and hope that it peels off?
Wipe off now?
Help please.

Yes, cool and then scrape. Continuously.

I'd wait until it cools a little (so you don't burn yourself) but try and gently get it off while it's still a bit warm and pliable, but not liquid, if that makes sense.

Thank you
I’m SO cross with myself

It’s popped off. Smile
I’ve just got the edge to scrape and the underneath looks stained. I’m going to get in touch with Neff to ask for advise.
