My kids have a lot of dressing up outfits!
They all cram into 2 big boxes, come with multiple accessories etc and I'm sick of clearing them up.
I've been thinking of a way to have them accessible, but tidy, as whatever they want is invariably at the bottom of the boxes
So I came up with putting the outfits on hangers and making drawstring bags to put the matching accessories in, which could attach to the hanger. The bags would have say 'cowboy' embroidered on and a picture patch. This way they take the hanger with the outfit they want instead of emptying 20 + outfits on the floor.
I have a feeling I know what you're going to say

I think it's a good idea. although you will still end up clearing it all up.

It is a great idea, I thought about doing this, as i have already done a similar thing for baby bits that don't really work well in drawres.
We have a set of hooks on the back of the door and drawstring bags labelled, i.e bibs, musilns, hats, tights etc
You could just get bigger bags and have the whole outfit in it though, as surely dressing up clothes don't need to be on a hanger? Then they could just take out a bag at a time and tidy it up themselves.

I've done it before I confess, but only a couple, I'm not sure it'll work for as many outfits as they have. Oh I'm resigned to clearing up after them, they're truly useless, but they are only 5 & 3 I suppose.

great idea, i wanted one of those mini kids rails from GLTC or the like, but where would you hang them all???..thinga type of washing line running through house would work

We have one of these for hanging the outfits, and this for accessories.

Cheap, cheerful and effective
