Shower cubicle cleaning?

Just got my new bathroom done but the fitter has said only to use water to clean? Or chrome fitting will tarnish. Just had first shower but not wondering how to clean it?! It’s curved so squeegee won’t work. Towel it off? What about soap scum? I almost don’t want to use it as it’s too nice!!

I use a bathroom cleaner every couple of weeks on my shower, but in between times I make sure I spray around the cubicle with clean water to stop scum building up and I use a squeegee and or a microfibre cloth. My cubicle is curved too - I just squeegee from left to right rather than up and down.

I've never heard of such a thing! Is it in the manufacturer's guidance?

No idea about recommendation - got this info second hand from dh. I’m a fan of spray and bleach normally! I’ll try squeegee then the other way and a wipe down and rinse.

We have a curved shower screen and it has a 'non stick type glass' or suchlike. It has been smoothed so water stains don't stick as much. I use a sponge and a blob of washing up liquid foam it all up and rinse it off. I don't squeegee. It does get marks between cleans, but they just wipe off with this method

And Method daily shower spray? How does that work ? Got some bit joe don’t think I’ll use it. No doubt it’ll be mottled and horrid in a few weeks but I’d like it to stay lovely. Not had anything nice in 15 years so it’s a lovely treat!!
