poo stains on the carpet....

my "non-moving" 10 mth old managed to bottom shuffle off her mat at nappy-off time last night whilst i was out of the room for a nano second and did a huge big poo on our lovely new wool carpet! have tried vanish for carpets but still a residual stain. any ideas please?

suppose it's my own fault for giving her prunes and apricots in the same day....

I wouldn't blame the choice of food, i'd blame the choice of carpet love

As for the stain erm i always use car upholstry cleaner it works on all stains well has done in this house.

Did you have your carpet stain treated?

ime experience baby wipes will take the colour out of anything.

go gently - you don't want a bleached spot in the middle of the carpet.

When you buy the carpet they give you a choice of having it stain treated so if you do drop something on it it comes out easily. Costs quite a bit but very worth it.
