My d's got Vaseline on his school jumper and its not washed ouf despite soaking. Any ideas? It's not a wool jumper but a sweatshirt type.

Washing up liquid

Wet the stain and scrub it by hand ensuring the washing up liquid is entirely absorbed into the stain then put back in wash

I would try washing up liquid to break down the grease. Use an old toothbrush to work it in!

Or iron over a piece of kitchen roll over the top? Check heat labels first! This works for fat spots and waxy stains, so should work with Vaseline I’d have thought.

Ace bleach is very good on grease, that works for me.

I see stain removal as a challenge and usually succeed, but Vaseline on a jersey top is the only stain that's defeated me, despite using loads of washing up liquid. It's worth a try though, work it in with an old toothbrush as a PP said.

Shout stain remover spray - leave on for 15 mins and wash as normal, usually gets grease / skin creams out of DS's clothes first or second time wash.
