Tumble dryer in pantry?

We're about to move to a house with a built in pantry and trying to work out if we can put our tumble dryer in it as there's no space in the kitchen. We have a vented dryer now so would have to get a vent put in, or we could buy a condensing one. The pantry is quarry tiled and noticeably colder than the kitchen, it's the original pantry in an Edwardian house.

Is there any reason why this would be a bad idea? I'm wondering whether the cold might be an issue, or something else I haven't thought of.
