A good vacuum cleaner

Please could someone recommend a really good vacuum cleaner for hard floors and carpet. I have had 3 Dysons in the past and they all lose suction after a while. It doesn’t matter if it is upright or cylinder. Thanks

@PipsM

We also had the Bosch cordless and after a while it became completely useless!

I went for the DuoClean non-cordless, but actually don't miss it being cordless as much as I thought I would. It has a "lift away" function that enables you to take the nozzle and container from the main frame - which makes it light and portable even with the cord (which is pretty long).

It is much more flexible than the Bosch for corners, ledges etc. - and nozzle attachments are also attached to the hoover - whereas you had to dig them out to use with the Bosch.

Thanks for that it’s so tempting (especially as we have no cleaner at the moment so I’ll be doing it while on maternity leave!) I’ll have to try to persuade my OH to buy one then- especially as it’s on offer for £200 on the shark website!
