My brand new Neff oven and the first thing I cook is a chicken and it spits everywhere. How best do I clean the plate at the back of the oven please?
Ive tried warm soapy water and vinegar but it’s not got rid of itConfused

Ovenpride, a thick gel that is sold in most supermarkets. Lakeland also do a similar product but it is more expensive. Just paint on with a pastrybrush and leave for a few hours, overnight for best results. It includes a huge plastic bag into which you can put shelves and oven trays. Brilliant stuff but caustic so wear rubber gloves and be sure to wipe off any splashes immediately as it could burn,

I think you are not supposed to clean the back plate on neff ovens; please do check your manual...it will give advice on cleaning
Eg does it have a self clean option or eco clean?
