Toothpaste for removing stains on wood - the best tip ever!

Hello All, this has saved me many times and I wanted to share it. If you ever get stains on wood, colgate white tooth paste works to get it out. I must be the original toothpaste. I am sure other brands work too, but this is the only one I have tried. It has gotten permanent marker out of wood, when NOTHING else worked...not even bleach (that is how desperate I was to get the stain out). I have used this trick many times over the years and it works EVERY time...even when I think the stain will never come out.

Hope this helps some people :)

That's a great tip! Does it work on a polished wood surface?

It has worked on different types of wood surfaces for me. Its pretty amazing. When you have tried the standard stuff and you think all is lost...that toothpaste works like a charm.
