I better get dD's some lunch. Its getting late!

Lol @ yaddah! Don't personally see the interest in shoes TBH. i am more of a trainers person! Hate heels. They hurt my feet.

Aufish · 03/05/2007 13:55

Kitchen done
Front room needs hoovering
bathrooms done
backgarden done
Just need to do the conservatory and the hallway.
Just having a sit down and a very yummy lunch that my dear partner is cooking.

Jelley · 03/05/2007 14:08

Not a shoe person here, either, but love your list yaddah. We are sooooo organised and efficient on this thread.

I have voted National Front are standing here, and though I don't take a massive interest in politics, I don't want them to be elected and know I didn't even vote against them (coservatives will win here any way I think)

Toddler group done
Unexpected babysitting for friends child done
entertain said friend and her 3 children whilst ds sleeps done
put dps tools away done
washing on line done
all the other jobs I wanted to do while ds slept nope

Will try and get some hoovering done now...

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 03/05/2007 14:10

Have you all seen my wonderful BAD HOUSEKEEPING thread? [preens] I am not taking piss by the way.. I used to be a flylady.. I crashed and burned (no kidding)!

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 03/05/2007 14:11

(you're all going to ignore me, thus treating me with the contempt I deserve aren't you.. )

tortoise · 03/05/2007 14:12

SHPHH Yes i saw it. love the ideas.

rollonsummerholidays · 03/05/2007 14:32

lucyellensmum · 03/05/2007 14:32

i'm going to give this a go, but not today, i still not sure i get it, but hey, my house is a pit so it must be worth a try, i find it really hard to fit the house around my dd though, i just find myself playing with her and getting nothing done, at work on mn now!

yaddayah · 03/05/2007 14:40

shiny i particularly like the slutty cousin excuse

Waves to lucyellensmum

My shoes are clarks (so comfy and i can walk in them) red leather with silver rivets ,wedges i'm only 5ft 3.. i look like a dwarf in trainers ..

dd's wearing them at the moment !

I have got no further with my list

Have got heat magazine

Nuff said

yaddayah · 03/05/2007 14:41

NineUnlikelyTales · 03/05/2007 14:42

Hi lucyellensmum

Just so you know, someone has started another thread for beginners and they are doing the babysteps together here Not that you aren't completely welcome here too!

rollonsummerholidays · 03/05/2007 14:45

would should have a mumsnetter standing at every polling station.

rollonsummerholidays · 03/05/2007 14:45

oops we should have

Londonmamma · 03/05/2007 15:46

Had a good laugh reading this thread today. Yaddayah - nice one. Just agree with the MIL on everything and she'll stop criticising

Doing some childminding this afternoon, but also want to get the following done:

  1. rescue plants at front of house
  2. chuck away the out of date stuff on my noticeboard
  3. update some computer lists
  4. prep veg for dinner
shouldbe · 03/05/2007 16:00

while I was making up dds bed the los were downstairs emptying a huge basket of toy cars ALL over the play/living room

Getting fed up today....

OP posts:
shouldbe · 03/05/2007 16:17

OK, they are helping to tidy up a bit now - I'm happy for them to play with the cars but there's no way they needed to create quite so much mess while going about it!

Meanwhile dds bed is all clean and the towels and bathmat are in the wm

Going to head out in the garden for a bit now before doing fish and chips for supper

OP posts:
shouldbe · 03/05/2007 16:19

......actually find myself sitting here wishing I had a copy of Heat magazine
