Food Storage

I need some ideas for storing staple food like pasta and rice. I have a number of glass and plastic containers from Ikea but need few much bigger containers than they seem to have on offer... I'd prefer clear but open to something different. We are building some open shelving in the kitchen so these containers will be on show.

Bumping

Really depends how fast you go through these things. A 1.5L Korken jar from Ikea holds enough rice for at least a month in our house.

It's more that I want to buy bigger quantities like 5kg back of rice...
