Condenser Drier load issues ?

Hi,
I have an old AEG tumble drier which has started complaining about clothing weight - so much so it's only on about 1/4 load now. Is it 'dead' or can it be resurrected?

I don't know, but when my drier started being cantankerous (it was ancient) I replaced it as I was too worried about the fire risk.
