Cleaning blinds?

Just wondering how you are supposed to clean fabric vertical blinds? We have some white ones which were here when we moved and although they are in good condition they are needing to be freshened up as starting to look a bit off white. Anyone have these? how do you maintain them and keep them looking nice?

I roll mine up and put them in to net wash bag and put them on a delicate cycle in the washer.I hang them straight back up after they are done and I've never had any problem with them.

My mum has those and hand washes them in the bath tub.

Thank you, do you put anything round them to stop them unraveling in the wash bag **giveronyoursausage ? I was a bit worried they might fray in the washing machine (or go crinkly after) but it would be easier if I could get away with doing it that way as they're in most rooms, did you just hang them back up to dry off?

The wash bags have zips I bought them in home bargains.
I hang them straight back up and put the weights on they will look crinkly but the weights pull them straight as they dry .
If there is any fraying I just snip it off my previous washer used to cause it and if they had a crease I just used to run my hair straighteners over them while they were hung up.

Roll them up, pop them into a pillowcase and knot the end to keep them in there, saves you a trip to find a netted bag and works the same way.

Massive difference when they come out, they'll look new again.
