Anyone else having a big clean/tidy today?

I am about to start having a big clean and tidy in our house! I am.off work this week for half term and don't want to spend all.week doing housework so I'm having a blitz today.

It's got a bit out of hand lately due to a hugely busy few weeks at work

Anyone else on a marathon clean? I'll post back with progress in a bit

I have diagnosed OCD but also fibromyalgia so I'm often battling between head telling me to clean and body telling me to rest!

I have let things slip lately and it's driving me crazy.
I've always been one of those somewhat annoying types that can find anything as everything has a home. Not anymore.

The catalyst was a few days back when I had stripped dd's bed and then she came in with me for a few nights and when I went to re-do her bed I couldn't find her favourite bedding.

So- today I'm going to make a good start.

•One washing into tumble
•Another washing on
•Living room hoovered.

Jobs still to do:
•Tidy toys from kitchen
•Mop kitchen floor
•Tidy pile of mail in the hall
•Hoover hall
•Clean bathroom
•Make online Tesco list

(All whilst looking after 3YO twins and a poorly dh) meh.

Glad I have company! I have made a start in the lounge and put anything that doesn't belong in there in a basket to take round and put away!

I am also about to have a cup of tea and then will carry on.

Already done. Hoovered and dusted upstairs and living. Did rest of the house in the week. I know it won't stay like this as it's half term but it looks good for now.

Me, but not until this afternoon. DD is at drama this morning, so I'm enjoying a little mooch around the shops and quiet cup of coffee. Then I'll pick her up and we'll blitz the house this afternoon. There is a lot to do...

Just about to go around the whole house and tidy things away , do a bit of dusting and hoover as we have family coming to see the house!

I have so far- put on a load of laundry and put another in the dryer.

Done dishes
Made master bed
Put stray laundry in basket ready to wash
Made a start on kitchen

Lots and lots to do here too

So far I've done:

• stripped our bed
• 2 loads of laundry
• kitchen
• dusted and hoovered downstairs

Need to:

• dust and hoover upstairs
• make our bed
• mop downstairs
• one more load of laundry

Right, I've tidied and hoovered the living room, sorted the rubbish out and made tomorrow's packed lunches
Need to wash up, make dinner and go to the shop but it's raining
