help iron just left black marks on white trousers any idea what will remove it ?

Just ironed dd's white pants and the iron has been sticking a bit lately and obv had something else stuck on bottom, any idea what will shift it ?

I would wash them again.

iron them inside out next time whilst you clean the iron

Vanish will get them out. Make a paste, spread it on, leave for an hour and chuck in washing machine. NB Vanish and washing up liquid mixed into a paste will eat the crap on your iron plate too! But make sure you clean it off afterwards.

Sorry do you mean underpants or tousers?
