Tell your husband to do it. Last minute is not on when you are 38 weeks pregnant

Shut all bedroom doors and leave them as messy as they might be already.

Bathroom - quick swipe over surfaces etc and loo clean/toilet block etc

Hoover hallway/stairs and wherever you will be eating/sitting before or after.

Give any woodwork quick wipe with a polish sprayed cloth to get rid of any dust and gives room a bit of a scent without making it seem like you have madly sprayed with air freshener.

Any tidying should be a quick (?) whizz round in no more than 10 minutes per room.

Chuck any clutter you can't tidy away into one of the bedrooms with the door closed!!

Wash up and wipe kitchen worktops?

YeahBut · 30/04/2007 16:40

living room, dining room and loo they're using is ALL you need to tidy. Throw any clutter into a room they won't see, dust, run round with hoover, smack dh in the chops for doing this at your stage of pregnancy - job done.

You are pregnant and can't be expected to remember anything

Pannacotta · 30/04/2007 16:59

That's what I told him! Oh well, suppose they'll have to take us as they find us (with the bare minimum done) and low lighting all round....
