sooty hand marks on white blouse

have washed it once normally, second time with vanish sprayed on grubby bits..they are now an attractive shade of grey....any suggestions?

unfortunately i think the general rule is that once a stain has been washed in warm water is has probably set in for good. you could buy an appropriate stain devil and see if it helps. or just plain bleach, diluted, as the top is white? I've just found that my best best least fat-making top has yellow curry stains washed in to it. gahh.

although i've just read another long thread about this and people seem to recommend lemon juice then leaving the thing in sunlight. gonna try it tomorrow.
