We had a leak in our kitchen and didn't realise how bad it was. I've gone to move a a unit against the wall in the lounge and the carpet in the corner is covered in mould and yucky things.
We are getting an extension in about 4 months where we are redoing the flooring too so we can't replace the carpet just yet.
I'm thinking slice off the affected corner and leave a dehumidifier there to make sure it's all dried out?
