I'm confused about my dryer

So we have a Hoover washing machine that foes the washing and the drying.

For some reason, when I put it on to dry for 90 minutes, on the digital display it is coming up as 330 odd minutes!

I must be doing something wrong! Please can somebody help?

Is it combining the wash cycle time with the drying time? 240 mins (2 hours) is pretty standard for a wash cycle.

No, it counts down 59 minutes for washing and then says the timer countdown LED changes and says 300 and whatever for drying - I'm wondering if it might mean 3:00 hours - but that's still longer than it should be.

3 hours for a dry cycle on a washer dryer is actually on the fast side.

I would have thought 300 minutes (5 hours) would actually be nearer the mark.

Washer/dryer, dryer cycles are not quick.
