Oh lord dh has stained sil's leather sofa with biro. How can we clean it? HELP!!!!!!

Poor dh stupidly had a biro in his back pocket when he sat on my sisters brown leather sofa yesterday. Unbeknown to him it leaked and has left a big stain on it. Does anyone have advice for cleaning biro from leather - please.

hairspray or john frieda freeze and shine spray - test on a hidden patch first - spray onto biro and clean off with damp cloth

Does that mean you know something that will remove smaller stains for biro? If so what's the secret?

we have got black biro off our cream leather sofa using the john frieda spray - with a large patch it may take a while - PLEASE TEST FIRST!!!
