I'm desperate for help.

My bedroom smells like some sadistic mix of gym shorts and bad cooking and I cannot figure out WHY. I change our sheets weekly and we don't leave dirty clothes in the floor but our room smells hideous! My DH seems immune to the smell which makes me feel like it's somehow his fault, though tbh he smells lovely.

I feel like I'm going insane. What is it? Why does our room stink? Can anyone help me?!

Have a good look and sniff around for mould and condensation. It could be under the floorboards, so have a sniff around the floor - also under the bed, behind wardrobes and drawers, anywhere there might be a tiny gap where moisture and mould could grow.

You could get a dehumidifier too, and leave the windows open regularly (you probably do that already)

I had a room that smell like an old tramp, and it turned out to be black mould growing behind a sort of shelving unit, that was against an outside wall. Had to scrap the furniture, scrub the walls, let it dry out, and rearrange the furniture. Problem solved.

Not his shoes/slippers/ dressing gown is it?
