Baby is now 11 weeks, I'm just being a lazy slattern now and I'm not used to it. Looking forward to Monday FLY thread. Have got some serious sorting out to do tonight and tomorrow. Babies generate all sorts of crap don't they?
Maybe we should just move house instead
Any words of encouragement appreciated.

Ooh Lm he's just goooorgeous!
Love him, love him, love him and his super chunky legs, sumo belly and big gummy grin. I
'm completely smitten and have decided to go ahead and have another, heehee. That will be the last one though!
'Course he's hard to find in this tip of a house sometimes

you;re going for another ! woo hoo !! sod the mess, enjoy the baby !

sorkycake · 28/04/2007 17:20

Dh is taking some convincing LM after all this'll make it 4!
I'm waiting until ds2 is approaching 1 and then piling on the charm, seduction, pouting etc. He'll cave I reckon because he's as smitten with the bub as I am. If we'd got a stinker this time then maybe not, but he's a little gud'un

do you already go on the fly thread

cos I do flylady

and they're insane on that thread, they're always doing extra stuff

sorkycake · 28/04/2007 17:33

I'm not doing anything, nevermind extra stuff! What are they doing extra?
Mind you if I got off Mumsnet I could make a start ;)

go to the flylady website, sign up for the emails, and work through the Beginners Babysteps

I think it's excellent although the woman is clearly barking and keeps sending you schmaltzy Go Girl type messages which can be a bit for my taste

the women on the fly thread are always doing stuff, for example today they are still at it, and on Saturdays my reading of it is you're just supposed to throw in a load of washing and do nothing else but be with your family

I'm not criticising them, btw, just saying they do a lot more than me!

hi. i do flylady. i go on the fly thread for the chat but i stick to the principles of having a zone each week and doing 5 mins at a time. dont agree with cleaning at the weekend...

sorkycake · 28/04/2007 17:49

I'm familiar with it, but despise it! But I do need it, aaarrgh!
I used to have a routine until about 7 months pg, when I decided to HE, then the baby came, now my house is a hovel and I can't remember my old routine. Actually even if I could I'm not sure I'd manage it all with 3 in tow. I'll join FLYlady, go slow and see how I go. Maybe I just need to shuffle my way back into it.
Thanks ladies!

lol. i joined flylady when i was nesting. dd2 is 4 1/2 months old now and keeping the house presentable is hard work. more because of dd1 (3) though.

I post on the FLY thread a lot. I can't speak for the other ladies on those threads but myself I ONLY do what I post on the FLY thread, I don't do the FLY Stuff as well.

In my case I had a big problem with clutter in my home and I use the support of the FLY threads and the lovely ladies on them, to help me plug away at my messy house.

Now a month later I only have a wall of box in one room to sort and a few hotspots which keep trying to build around the house.

I am so pleased with myself...I hope to finish the house in the next month, so maybe then I will be in a postition to do ONLY the FLY lady stuff and nothing else

HTH

I do cleaning on the w/e because I work 3 days a week and dh works long hours and is away overnight. I've hardly seen him this week for example. Late evening and overnight on Tues, Thurs and Fri. That's all. Back again tonight. Without cleaning on the w/e I'd not be able to see the floor or a flat surface anywhere! I'm aiming to be able to finish each week day by 9pm and not do much on w/e at all, but am not at that stage yet. I was pretty unwell for a few years and have recently got better so I have a lot of catching up to do, clutter sorting wise. I don't use the FLY website except for a glance now and again. The FLY threads are a godsend to me. Hth and everyone is very welcome on the FLY threads.
