Clothes stain dilemma

Hello, I'm new here and totally freaking out.

My OH bought me a hoody for Christmas that I had wanted for months, me being the clutz I am got grease on it I scoured through the internet to find out what to do and I tried the baking paper over the top with an iron.. well it didn't work and I was unaware of abit of food (possibly chocolate) that was next to the grease stains so when I went over it with the iron it made a mark where the chocolate was, its quite light the same colour as baking paper but the hoody is emerald green so this mark is very noticeable.

I managed to get the grease out by using fairy liquid and a toothbrush and scorching hot water, then into the wash.. grease came out but the other mark is still there.. I've put some vanish stain remover spray on it and washed it again.. still there! :( Does anyone know if what I've done is irreversible. I haven't told the OH yet.. if I cant fix it I'm going to replace it on the sly because I really love it.

I use the varnish soap bar, might be worth a try, I used it to get black boot polish off cream jodhpurs.

If Vanish hasn’t worked and the top is otherwise ruined for you, try spraying WD40 on and washing twice. I’ve rescued two tops this way that would otherwise have gone in the bin.The stain may spread out the first time which is why it needs a second wash, don’t dry in between.

I use ace bleach (you can buy in Sainsbury's or pound shop )

There is not a stain I haven't been able to get out

Pour direct from the bottle to cover the Spain and then use a nail brush to scrub over the stain and launder straight away.

It's amazing stuff
