cleaning twiddly bits

We have a couple of wooden items which have deeply carved panels and lots of fiddley bits. How does the diligent house-husband dust, let alone clean, all that carving and ornamentation?

Toothbrush
Paintbrush
Pastrybrush
Hoover nozzle
Duster
Featherduster
Dampcloth

Or go minimalistic.

I use one of these

swiffer.com/en-us/shop-products/dusting/swiffer-dusters-cleaner-starter-kit

Works like a charm, gets in to all the grooves with a light touch without me even having to think about it, and too light to knock anything over so i just go over all the little ornamental decoration stuff without even picking them up.

Yes what Nixxie said (you can buy the swifter version over here, but the mainstream version here in U.K. the Pledge ones).

Dust down with it, then spray a coating of furniture polish on the pad and then buff, buff, buff away.

I do my slatted blinds using this method too.
