Strong cooking smells

Hi there.

Any tips for getting rid of curry smell from the house? It lingers for 2-3 days at the moment, I think because I'm not opening windows with the weather being as it is.

Tried burning a candle- masks the smell whilst it's on, smell returns when it's put out.

I have heard that leaving a bowl of vinegar out whilst/after cooking helps absorb the smell
also boiling vinegar & lemon juice (not sure whether i am making that up, though )

Not vinegar - a bowl of bicarbonate of soda will really help to absorb smells. Pop it in the kitchen, and you can also sprinkle it over carpets if any near by, leave for half an hour and then vacuum up. Also works wonders on soft furnishings, exactly the same - sprinkle on, leave, hoover. Easy cleaning!

Cheap air purifier and whatever your particular favourite essence maybe. Mine is lemon. Works a treat no more nasty smells
