Asking about your cleaner

Hello MN

I'm soon to be returning to work 2 days pw after mat leave and am organising a cleaner. I've never had a cleaner before so I'm just trying to get a feel if anyone would like to share:

Whereabouts in the country you are?
How many hours/what you pay?
What do you ask for/what do they do?
Oh and give us a mansion/millionaire disclaimer if applicable, suffice to say my house would not compare Grin

3 hours once a week. 1 hour ironing, through clean and mop of kitchen, downstairs loo and main bathroom floors. Hoovers sitting room, conservatory, hall stairs and landing, dusts flat surfaces that aren't covered in clutter. Does not do bedrooms as DCs are 21 and 24 and can do their own and our room is on the 2nd floor that she doesn't touch.
If time left then she will chuck out of date stuff away from the fridge, empty bins (theoretically they should be empty as this is one of the very few things the DCs should do) and puts the dustbin away if the bin men have been - not an agreed task I think she is affronted if the dustbin makes the outside look scruffy when she has made the inside look nice. £10 per hour so £30 a week (plus usual tip/card/treats at Christmas)
