Sorry, boring subject I know!

I have a new wool thick loop pile carpet and need a new vacuum.

I know not to use a brush head on it so what brand/make do you use?

Does anyone use the Dyson V8 with the soft roller head? It that powerful enough to vacuum a 4 bedroom house?

Thanks!

It’s recommended to use a straight suction but powerful vacuum on Berber carpets as the brushroll can tug at the loops and pull the carpet up.

Try something like a Miele or Henry cylinder which are both very powerful.

Personally I’ve never found cordless vacs to be any good. Fine for quick pick ups but not suitable for top to bottom deep cleaning. They’re just not powerful enough and the charge doesn’t last long enough.

Just came across this - sorry for the late post! Can I ask how you’re getting on with this? I’ve just had a wool mix loop pile carpet fitted and was wondering the exact same thing!
