DD was very ill last night all over me and my bed. I stripped the bed as soon as I could but there is a damp patch on it which reeks of vomit. I've mopped it down but it still honks...

Does anyone out there have any handy hints? Is Febreeze worth a go (ime it only ever masks smells with the smell of Febreeze, but I've not bought it in years...)?

Thanks

Baking soda scrubbed in, then left to completely dry, then hoover up when it has?

Fresh air. Lots of fresh air - prop it up by an open window and creat a through draft if you can. Then bicarbonate of soda on liberally, rubbed in, left for a while and then brushed off. repeat. repeat.....it WILL go
