Essential oils - Help required

Have just been bought an ultrasonic mist diffuser for use with essential oils. There seems to be a huge differential both on line and in shops in the price of oils. Some places offer 6 oils for £10 or £12 whilst other charge £6 plus a bottle for the same fragrances. I realise say Frankincense is expensive everywhere compared to other fragrances.
This is new to me so I don't want to make an expensive mistake. Can anyone recommend a good supplier and perhaps what the "essential" essential oils might be and successful combinations.

Prices do vary... I usually buy mine in a local independent pharmacy most (well the ones I like ) are £2.95 each... the are 100% pure essential oils. I never bother with organic which is a bit pricier. As to mixes etc. It really depends on what you like ! I use a lot of bergamot and lemon grass in the kitchen as I love the clean fresh smell of that...look online for blogs etc.!!

All good as long as you don't have cats. Diffusing these is highly toxic to them and can kill them.

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately no longer have a cat but had read this was the case. Have been doing a bit of research but need to do more.
