Greeting cards

Do you keep old greeting cards? I've got piles of old cards, ie. new baby cards I received when my children were born, and then for their first, second and third birthdays. Will I regret it if I recycle them? And if you do keep them, how do you store them? Tia!

I have a scrapbook and for each child I just cut out the messages / some nice part of one of the cards. Did this for wedding cards (we got over 150) so couldn't keep them all. Christening. Don't bother with Christmas

Nope dont keep cards.... i have the ones from when dds were born but they are 9 and 5 and have never looked at them. Not sure they will want them either....

However I have kept some cards they have written or drawn me/dp as they and i like looking back over them. But not every scrap of paper or drawing they do.

General birthday/xmas cards get the front taken off and i take into work for the children to cut up (work in a nursery)

Only ones the children have made/written. The rest goes in the recycling bin.

I've just dealt with the christmas cards- I keep the 1 or 2 that are handmade, any that are really nice, especially if not too christmassy I cut the front off and keep for re-using. Any very christmassy ones I am sending to a charity. All the backs go in the recycling.

No I don't keep any

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 06/01/2018 23:07

I keep them all. Blush

I kept new baby cards but I think that's for my benefit, I've never wanted to look at my ones at mums house and doubt my kids will want to see theirs, but you never know.
