I recently stayed in a cottage where the duvets were so puffy and marshmallowy. The label is Christy, 13.5 tog, 85% goose feather, 15% goose down and it says the mass of the duvet per square metre is 875g, made in England. Christy no longer do this duvet so Im on the hunt for an equivalent, but would like it to be a lower tog at 10.5 or so.
Im not looking for something super-light weight, puffyness and marshmallowy is more important. I have bought a 10.5 tog, 85/15 goose feather and down by the Lyndon company but it feels really thin. I have also bought a 9 tog 60/40 duck down/feather from Soak and Sleep which was described as marshmallowy, but again, I was expecting fluffier (they dont do a 10.5 in this range).
Should I give them a few days out of the packaging and see if they puff up? Or is there one anyone could recommend?
