a small amount of washing up liquid - not enough to fill the bucket with bubbles, but enough to act as a detergent.

I tip a generous helping of anti bacterial surface spray into mine and mix with water.

Just found this on the net:

1/8 cup detergent
1/4 or 1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup peppermint tea.

Add to a bucket of water.

Worked a treat!!!

When we moved we cleaned where the washing machine had been with Fairy (all we had left after van went) it did an amazing job cleaning away years of accumulated gunk, not sticky afaik.

fransmom · 23/04/2007 21:32
