Need to MOP the KITCHEN FLOOR but have run out of floor cleaner. ANY IDEAS?

Needs more than water I can tell you.

I tip a generous helping of anti bacterial surface spray into mine and mix with water.

Just found this on the net:

1/8 cup detergent
1/4 or 1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup peppermint tea.

Add to a bucket of water.

Worked a treat!!!

then what will stop my lino from being sticky after? it's bloody awful

But let it dry properly before you go back in wearing coloured socks

When we moved we cleaned where the washing machine had been with Fairy (all we had left after van went) it did an amazing job cleaning away years of accumulated gunk, not sticky afaik.
