back from swimming & Ellie & I are having a tuna on toast. Well I am Ellie is playing with hers. I am having a cuppa then a pain au chocolate & Ellie will have yogurt. Going to read the posts since my last visit & return.

GF Swimming Class was fab only 2 other Mums with babies. I even had the courage to dunk Ellie under the water& she was fine.My dh won't believe it.[proud mummy face]Hope your 4 mile run goes well[impressed face]

Glad to see everybody is well and doing ok. Am fully recovered from my weekend and raring to go.

Sounds like you enjoyed taking Ellie for her swim EHM. My DD's have never been.Hope to be able to take them soon.

My kitchen is looking pretty good now. Can't believe the mess DD's have made in the front room though!! What a tip.

Any other FLYers suffer with hayfever? I do and its bad this year so far! By the time i usually get on comp i forget how bad i was that morning! Well i missed a tablet yesterday morning and took it last night. Woke up better but sneezing and runny eyes now. I have a sore nose! i was ok 10 mins ago too!

oh, just wondering, has anyone bought any of the stuff from the flylady website? the books etc?

sorry to hear you have hayfever tort. i dont have it but i can fully sypmathise with you anyway, my ex had it and he really suffered throughout the summer

i just made a bit more mess! I knocked the cd rack down by accident and it whacked me across the back as it fell and spilled cds all over the room! Ouch!

I need to join you ladies. My house is a tip and I can't seem to keep on top of it anymore, I just seem to spend ages doing one thing and then by the time I have finnished, somewhere else is a tip.

Washing is my main problem again. I had got it all sorted, would do it in the day, get it dry and put it away when the kids were in the bath, but over easter because they were going through more clothes than a department store every day, I got really behind and now have piles everywhere .

I want to start decorating but at the mo there is no point.

Putting washing away is my worst job and always piles up.
Can you start by sorting a basket of washing out into piles of whos is whos and just put those few bits away? then do another pile in a bit so its small chunks at a time.

CD's now all picked up! Think i will have a nice bruise on my back!
Just need to hoover and then front room is not too bad!

Ok have just sorted the huge pile into stuff needing ironing and stuff not needing ironing, and am off to put the non iron stuff away. Will do the ironing tonight whilst i watch tv i think.

Long list of posts already today - everyone's been very busy
Our house is looking pretty good after I had a blitz early this morning (still waking at 5.30ish even when the kids are still asleep! )...still the house is benefiting from it so that's good
Dh passed his inspection so is very (as am I - not that I ever doubted he would for a minute)

Got a little bit of time on my hands now before collecting dd and taking her to her after-school activity so ought to do some clearing out of the kids bedrooms (my task for the week) but can't be bothered so am going to read to ds and watch some telly

Ok, washing is all away, everyone now has drawers full of underwear and will no longer have to streak downstairs to find some

Also decluttered my room whilst I was up there, so have a big carrier bag full of rubbish now too

Well Nutty you are doing well. Its funny how once you start a job its not so bad after all. Its doing it regularly that stumps me!

Yep me too, I can keep it up for a few days and then it all seems to slide and hey presto I am back to where I started.

I heard it takes 2 weeks for a routine to become the norm. I just can't keep anything up that long!

Washing machine repair man is here now thank goodness, so later I can get on with the enormous pile of laundry that has built up. And I can go out this afternoon, if only to the shops.

Just had my friend round for a cuppa and a sarnie. We are going to go to Keep Fit together on Friday evening. She is on the Slim Fast diet already, and has been to keep fit last week. After watching her sterling efforts (she has been very good) she has inspired me to keep fit too. I have been walking a lot the last week so I could do with eating a bit better, and keep fit too.

shouldbe I wake early too...even when everyone else is asleep. I usually just lie there though, as the minute I get up the kids wake up.

tort 2 weeks to make a new routine stick you say....hmmm If I can just stick at the keep fit for a couple of weeks then...I shouldbe ok!
