Fluffy rug and Dyson v6 animal

I need a rug for my living room, I've been eyeing up a 'fluffy' fairly long pile rug but I'm worried vacuuming it will be a nightmare - will it just tangle in the spinny bristles? Does anyone have this rug & vacuum combo, is it a terrible idea?

I have both but don't use my dyson on the rug as the care instructions mention that a rotating brush hoover would ruin the pile - you have to just use a suction only head which I have on my Miele cat and dog so I use that on it instead.
