Help, totally missed care label & took very expensive wool duvet to cleaners, it’s now half size it was & very thick/heavy. Is there any way of reviving it?

No. It sounds as if it has become felted, due to heat or agitation or both. This is the cleaners responsibility though. They should have read the care label. Take it back and complain.
